This weeks adventures at Reaveley Towers...

Friday was games night with The Most Beautiful Grand Daughter in the Whole World.

Saturday I taught a stitched canvas class at Art from the Heart. As always the students were wonderful and we had a fabulous time.

Saturday night was the time to have a last bath for a few days as I am having a new bathroom fitted. Mr Bimbo wasn't really amused and wouldn't get out for ages lol

Sunday, and the walls came tumbling down. All of them.!!!  I had to banish people from the house as the view from my bed was the toilet!!

Monday, he was still sulking and being as awkward as possible. Seems I wasn't allowed on the laptop, nor able to work in my journal.

Fabulous, fabulous news happened. The Resident Bit of Glamour and her TomTom surprised us with wedding news.
Just look at the smiles on their faces. Whoop whoop another outfit and hairdo on the cards.

Tuesday, and the walls were back up. New walls this time, so we have a bit more privacy but not a lot. Still no sign of the doors.
New suite not coming for a while so its like living and bathing in a squat !!

But at least my boy is talking to me again.

Today, me and Our Ben are on our way to Frankfurt to the trade show Paperworld.
I will be demoing for three companies
Notions
Personal Impressions
and Vaessen

We are leaving a cold snowy climate for an even colder snowy climate!!

And I will be demoing things like these beauties.

Fingers crossed that when I get back I will have a new bathroom, with no rubble.

The Hills are alive….

with the sound of Dyan……he he he …

Oh yes indeedy wait till you hear what I am up to now..

A red head, an Irishman, a singing nun, and some of our favourite things…!!!!

I'm only hosting a land tour with workshops to Germany, Austria and Bavaria…

Yup you heard me correct me and the lovely Jim West will be your hosts/guides/partners in crime as we travel round these beautiful countries.

I'm thinking this will be the campiest tour you have ever been on. Can you imagine?? he he

Me and Jim will just have to have some matching outfits as we channel the Von Trapp family. I absolutely adore the film, the Sound of Music and so there will be no stopping me with the singing and the excitement.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Round trip airfare , most meals, accommodations in a family owned lodge in Bavaria and first class hotel accommodations in Munich, private motor coach and driver, special art journaling workshop shopping opportunities in Salzburg, Austria and Munich, a boat ride on Lake Chiemsee, visiting special Sound of Music movie locations, and much more

One of my favourite bits will be visiting the fountain from the film and singing Do Re Me…he he so easily pleased.

Amidst all the laughter and the frolics I will be fitting in some art journaling techniques for you to learn, and you will have a fabulous goody bag of specially designed products to boot.

Can you really afford to miss out on all this frivolity??? No I thought not… I am not taking a massive group as I wanted to get to know you all so spaces are limited.

So when is this adventure happening you ask yourselves….May 23rd to the 31st 2015. They do payment plans so you have plenty of time to save your pennies.
I'm not sure I can actually go that long without bursting with excitement but we'll see.

For the full itinerary and more details go HERE

Here's some of the highlights…

Oberammer…home of passion plays

Salzberg..the birthplace of 18th-century composer Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart

 Ruhpolding

Neuschwanstein Castle...The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as a homage to Richard
Wagner. If I remember rightly it was also used as the inspiration for the Disney princess castle.

There is also the option to finish the trip with a visit to Dachau, a must for me personally.

I really can't wait for this to come around and hope you are excited to join me.

CHA days two and three

Day two started extremely early as we always have 2 hours demoing exclusively to the VIP's, before the show even starts!! Although hoiking yourself out of bed at 5am doesn't feel good at the time it is definitely worth it. You get their undivided attention whilst you explain all your new products. Mind you when you get to the fourth group you don't know what you've said or what you've missed out!!

Love to bump into friends

 More work, work, work.

 And filming.

Made this for one of my biggest fans, lol.

And this was a filmed sample

Its nice to sit at the end of the day with the bosses, having a well earned tipple

Aww our very own Brit, Andy Skinner.

Love this lady, Jamie, designer of Bloom girls. I admired the skull picture and she took it down and gave it to me. I was so overwhelmed and started to fill up !!! Its hung in my studio, I love it so.

Still have to pinch myself that one of my besties works along side me.

This was our displays on the Stampers Anonymous booth, who manufactures our stamps.

And that was it from the show for me. I skipped town early so I could be home for my youngest daughters birthday. Its far too many years, that I have had to celebrate over Skype.
